Our athletic program offers students in grades 6-12 participation in a variety of sports. The level of participation is suitable to the athletes’ age and development. While varsity competition puts a greater emphasis on winning, it is certainly not the main goal of sub-varsity teams. Our sub-varsity programs first emphasize skill development and teamwork.
To participate in athletics, students are required to maintain a minimum of a 2.0 GPA with no F's. Student athletes must have a current physical and must have completed the NFHS Concussion in Sports course.
NCAA ELIGIBILITY CENTER
If you want to play NCAA sports at a Division I or II school, you need to meet certain academic standards and be certified as an amateur athlete. The NCAA Eligibility Center also offers a profile page for students planning to compete at Division III, or students who don't yet know where they want to compete. Your eligibilitycenter.org account or profile page contains all the information you need to begin your NCAA experience. Those who plan to play NCAA college athletics need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
