WHAT IS A GRADUATE PROFILE?
Graduate Profiles are a way to focus our community on a core set of learning goals, goals that support the development of skills and habits of mind that matter in our district and beyond. Especially for our schools as we work to prioritize mastery and personalization, a Graduate Profile helps clarify what we want students to master and why we are committing to personalized pathways that ensure all students reach mastery at all levels. This also ties into our collective agreement work from our last PLC session. Values and goals we as a district will commit to in order to help our students be successful at all levels. As we work through the process, it is an opportunity for us to reflect on ourselves as educators and what and how we contribute to the district and the collective agreements we make to one another. The process will not be successful unless we step back and focus on ourselves first and not what is wrong with everyone else. We want our district to be the best it can be. Let's start now! |
